aromatherapy-web-optimized-smallWe are happy to now have 4 different therapeutic grade essential oils that we can add to any of our other services to give you an experience far beyond basic. For more in depth information on the different oil types please click the name of the oil to be linked to our suppliers site. Most aromatherapy should not be used while pregnant.

Lavender: The most commonly used essential oil for massage. Has calming effects as well as pain relief for muscles and joints.
Ginger Root: Many mental and physical applications. Has warming properties that help relieve muscle aches, cramps and spasms. Helps ease anxiety and restore self-confidence.
Peppermint: Helps relieve stomach as well as respiratory tract ailments. Helps relieve headaches and other pain and also reduces stress.
Rosemary: Improves circulation. Helps regulate oil secretions to improve skin tone. Improves mental fatigue and sluggishness by stimulating nervous system.

 

Foot Soak

foot-soak-web-optimized-smallArrive at least ten minutes early and enjoy a complimentary relaxing foot soak. We use essential oil infused epsom salt and mix it with warm water to help ease you into relaxation and readiness for your massage. You may choose from Lavender or Eucalyptus & Spearmint.

 

Swedish Massage

Our typical swedish massage consists of a lot of long flowing strokes. Many people refer to this massage as a “Fluff & Buff” because it is generaly used for pure relaxation. Great for those stressed out folks who just need a good break from real life.

 

Sports Massage

In this massage we use heat packs to help loosen up the area of your choice. (low back, hamstrings, neck, etc.) We also throw in some added stretching to make sure those stiff muscles are feeling like Jell-o when you leave.

Deep Tissue Massage

deep-tissue-massage-web-optimizedWe use a combination of styles in this massage to make sure we get those achy muscles the help they need. Pressure will be adjusted to individual client needs and desire. 

Pregnancy Massage

We use a special pregnancy bolster that allows a mom-to-be to lay on her stomach and on her back for any style of massage.

Shiatsu – Holly only

Shiatsu is a type of Japanese massage that incorporates anima, acupressure, stretching, and western massage. Holly practices the Ancient Ohashi-Masunaga method. The digital pressure follows the same lines as acupuncture to release and dissolve knots and blocks in the body. It is a deep tissue treatment which guarantees a positive and beneficial outcome. It is done fully clothed on a full body sized therapeutic cushion on the floor. Please wear loose fitting comfortable clothing for Shiatsu.
